The market is saturated with products, clothing, shoes, accessories, perfumes, household items, and everything else we can buy to meet our needs. But we must be clinically aware when deciding to buy something we’ll use and when we’re looking for quality and originality.
We’ve all been there, trying to buy an item for any purpose and paying a considerable sum for something we believe to be original, only to find out later that it’s a fake. Sometimes it’s almost impossible to distinguish between an original product and a fake.

But don’t worry, because in this article, you’ll learn how to differentiate between a fake and an authentic item. I assure you, you’ll never fall into scammers’ traps again.
Nike Air sneakers have a texture that counterfeit manufacturers can’t imitate. This is because the materials they use are different, as are their components. So, in authentic Nike sneakers, you’ll notice a hardness in the leather that’s lacking in fake ones.

You’ll also want to examine the symmetry of the shoes. If anything seems asymmetrical, then it’s likely a fake.
Authentic Ray-Ban glasses with plastic frames are made from a single piece. On metal frames, the center section is carefully detailed, with no protruding points.
Most often, lenses are made with real glass. Models that use plastic lenses can be checked on the manufacturer’s official website.
In the upper right corner of the right lens, we find the Ray-Ban logo inscription, it is engraved on the surface of the lens, making it impossible to erase.

On the outside of the temples, there should also be an inscription detailing the manufacturer. Additionally, the serial number of the item is usually on the left temple, and the country of manufacture on the right.
If you look at the letter “F” on your Fila sneakers, you’ll notice some irregularities in the seams. This is perfectly normal for all genuine Fila sneakers. What’s not normal is that the letter “F” is actually sharp on the top two edges. On fake sneakers, these edges almost touch the square surrounding the logo, which shouldn’t be the case.
Next, look at the details of the toe box, especially the holes at the front. There should be the same distance between each hole, but if not, you’ve probably bought a fake pair.

Additionally, the heel logo may be completely different. On the original sneakers, that logo is the same as the one on the tongue. However, on fake sneakers, the word “Fila” may be stitched onto another piece of red and blue leather.
First of all, fake Guess bags aren’t made of leather, but of cheap synthetic materials. You can check this by pressing the material with your finger. If the wrinkles that form remain and don’t disappear, then it’s definitely not genuine leather.
Next, check the bag’s lining. Genuine Guess bags have a very visible soft lining, while fake ones sometimes don’t have any. And if they do, it’s very thin, like paper.
Finally, you can check the bag’s metal. The metal inserts on an authentic Guess bag are sturdy and shiny, with a smooth surface. Counterfeiters, on the other hand, use cheaper materials that may appear dull and even have superficial marks.
Have you ever unknowingly purchased a counterfeit product? How did you recognize it wasn’t an authentic brand? Were the differences noticeable, or did you have to ask an expert?
