Mexico is tinged with darkness after the loss of La Zabaleta.

The singer canceled her performance tonight in Mérida following the loss of her father, Don Alfonso José Zabaleta Margaín.

Susana Zabaleta  is in mourning . The actress announced the sad news that her father,  Don Alfonso José Zabaleta Margaín, passed away last Friday, September 6.

The soprano shared on social media that she is going through one of the most difficult moments of her personal life, following  the death of her father.  For this reason , she canceled her performance this Saturday night, September 7th.

Through her official Instagram account, the actress posted a heartwarming message in which, quite moved, she informed her fans that  she will be returning to Monclova to be with her siblings and mother, bidding farewell to her father.

Zabaleta noted in the clip that he won’t be able to delight his audience tonight in Mérida. However , he will reschedule this date for all those who purchased tickets for his concert at the Palacio de la Música.

“Hello everyone. Today is September 7th, and tonight I was supposed to sing in Mérida, at the Palacio de la Música. A family event came up; my father became very ill, and for me, I know that as an artist, my obligation is to be with my audience, but it’s also to be with my siblings and my mom. It’s very difficult to sing, to have my soul in shambles… I’m going to Monclova; I’ll come back to sing later.”

On the other hand, Susana reposted, in her Instagram stories , a touching video that featured various photographs of her and her father.

“Dr. Zabaleta, thank you so much ,” it reads.

In addition , the singer shared information about where her father will be laid to rest in Monclova.

After breaking this heartbreaking news, Susana Zabaleta received countless outpourings of support from internet users and colleagues in the media.  She’s undoubtedly going through a difficult time in her personal life.
