Renato Aragão, known as the iconic Didi, maintains a large following on his Instagram account and frequently shares moments with his wife. At 88 years old, Renato demonstrates that he hasn’t lost the sense of humor that has always characterized his personality.

Renato Aragão is moved by the film about Mussum

Besides making people laugh, Renato Aragão is also known for his emotional sensitivity. The renowned comedian decided to go to the cinema to watch the film “Mussum, o filmis,” which premiered throughout Brazil last Thursday (2). The eternal Didi couldn’t hold back the tears when he witnessed Ailton Graça’s performance as Mussum on the big screen.

With tears in his eyes, Didi expressed his joy at the quality of the film and how it brought back so many memories. He shared, “I’m immensely happy with everything it did for everyone, with the joy it brought everyone,” making it clear how emotionally meaningful this special moment was.

Antônio Carlos Bernardes Gomes, better known as Mussum, was born in 1941 in the Lins de Vasconcelos neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. He passed away in 1994, during a period of hospitalization in São Paulo. Mussum is a figure of great importance in Brazilian popular culture and is always remembered with deep respect for his contribution to comedy through his role in “Os Trapalhões.” It is not surprising that a film was dedicated to Mussum, attracting a wide audience to theaters throughout Brazil. Ailton Graça’s performance in the feature film has received much praise for his portrayal of this iconic character.
