The tragic moment a 12-year-old girl fell into an open manhole during a flood has been captured on camera.
The child, who has still not been found, apparently mistook the open cover for a puddle during flooding which hid the depth of the hole.
The chilling footage shows the girl, dressed in school uniform, crossing a flooded road in Dias D’Avila, in the Brazilian state of Bahia, on Wednesday afternoon.
The girl, named as Amanda Max Teles da Silva is seen clutching a yellow umbrella in the clip before she suddenly disappears from sight as she falls into the open manhole. Amanda was reportedly on her way
